About

Hi, I’m Andrew! I’m an engineer working in the Greater Boston area with a particular interest in robotics, autonomous flight and electric vehicle technology. While I have a formal background in Mechanical Engineering, my skill set really lies in solving complex problems at the intersection of disciplines. I’m currently working as a robotic systems engineer at Draper Laboratory developing autonomy software for UAVs and UUVs. In my free time, I like to keep busy with personal projects that allow me to continue developing my hardware skills while solving some cool and often ridiculous problems.

In addition to doing engineering work for both personal and professional projects, I am also an avid endurance athlete with a background as a former NCAA cross country and middle distance runner. Some of my other interests include rock climbing, backpacking 3D printing and recently FPV drone flight. Despite being nowhere close to a professional FPV pilot, I love taking the crafts out to the field and getting to see the world from the perspective of sky.
